PROF PATRICE LUMUMBA ENDORSES THE TRANSFORM AFRICA NOW INITIATIVE
Highly admired, a global Icon, a phenomenal Pan-Africanist and an anti-corruption advocate, Professor PLO Lumumba, has thrown his weight behind TAN and pledges his support to combine efforts with the organisation to make a significant contribution to help develop the continent of Africa.
Speaking at a meeting with the TAN leadership, Professor Lumumba expressed that he believes in the agenda defined by the organisation and acknowledges that as relevant to the course of revolutionising changes in the continent of Africa.
Renowned for his interest in finding African solutions to African problems, Prof Lumumba said the mission and objectives of the new organisation, Transform African Now, conform with his resolute belief in the leadership qualities of African youths and their abilities to find solutions to the myriad of African problems.
Prof emphasised that there is a new awakening in the continent of Africa with an emerging consciousness to embrace the Africa Diaspora to move the continent forward. He therefore encouraged TAN to see the current African situation as a project and called on the leadership to rally more diaspora support to engage in activities that will revolutionise the continent of Africa.
He further stated that he is happy to join the organisation's efforts to rekindle the spirit of Africanness to cover ground to contribute to other areas of development.
