TAN CHIEF EXECUTIVE AFRICANUS ANNAN MEETS FORMER ZAMBIAN VICE-PRESIDENT, DR NEVERS SEKWILA MUMBA
The former Zambian Vice President, Dr Nevers Mumba pledges support to drive TAN's Mission to empower the new generation of African youth. He believes that today's youth deserve a real opportunity to drive their generation to the next level of development.
The new initiative, TRANSFORM AFRICA NOW, is a global coalition of youth development advocates from different African countries with a common aim of building partnerships with a broad range of youth empowerment stakeholders to drive and implement change initiatives to accelerate development in Africa.
Receiving the leader of TAN, Mr Africanus Annan in London, the former Vice President of Zambia, Dr Mumba warmly welcomed the ideas behind the formation of Transform African Now and pledged his support humanly possible for the success of the organisation. Giving his assurance, he said he was looking forward to working with TAN and deploying his wealth of experience and networks to help the organisation mould African youths for better leadership.
Dr Mumba said there could not be a better time for the take-off of TAN than now when African youths need role models and a unified voice in global matters.
